Povestea vietii Doinei Jitareanu ar putea fi socotita aprioric si oarecum superficial una
de succes. Dupa ce a trait mai multa vreme sub vraja marii, dar si sub vrajba oamenilor,
familia ei a hotarat ca tot bastina este locul ideal de traire a vietii. Reintoarsa pe
vatra mosilor si stramosilor a inceput, alaturi de sotul ei, o mica afacere in care
feroneria are un loc special. Legatura cu mestesugul traditional o are in sange, insa i-au
lipsit o vreme contactele datatoare de sperante, precum si sfatul unor oameni priceputi.
Intalnirile acestea s-au produs in iarna anului 2007 si au inceput repede-repede sa dea
roade.
Principalul obiect traditional in care Doina
Jitareanu isi exprima forta creatoare este sfesnicul; acesta este realizat intr-o multime
de forme decorative, toate foarte apropiate de canoanele feroneriei arhaice, in tehnici
traditionale (excluzand, bineinteles, sudura). Efectul asupra privitorilor este unul cu
totul benefic, lumanarea gasindu-si odihna binecuvantata pe astfel de sfesnice.
Un produs apropiat ca functionalitate este
suportul pentru lumanarile decorative rotunde, recent aparute pe piata romaneasca. Tot la
capitolul obiecte cvasi-traditionale, mentionam si snururile bicolore (alb si rosu) pe
care le pregateste cu migala Doina Jitareanu in preajma sarbatorii Martisorului, snururi
ce au o mare cautare printre amatorii de cadouri de bun gust.
Putem aprecia, cu obiectivitatea necesara, ca
intalnirea mesteritei din Lunca Cetatuii cu AMPM este de bun augur pentru ambele parti.
Faptul ca Doina Jitareanu are si o mica afacere destul de prospera poate fi un imbold
practic pentru alti membri ai asociatiei, iar legatura cu traditia autentica credem ca va
spori in toata gama de produse pe care le gandeste si realizeaza in firma sa Doina
Jitareanu.
Disponibilitatea exemplara inspre ajutorarea
celorlalti, pretuirea valorilor traditionale, bonomia si omenia ce transpar la fiecare
pas, dar si seriozitatea aproape nemteasca – iata atribute ce fac din Doina Jitareanu un
membru aparte al retelei transfrontaliere ART, un om pe care se poate conta oricand si

At
first sight, Doina Jitareanu’s life story seems to be a successful one. After having
lived several years surrounded by the sea charm, but also by people’s hatred, her family
decided to return to their native land. She came back to the ancestors’ abode where she
started together with her husband a small business, the hardware occupying a special place
there.
Thought she inherited the passion for this
handicraft, it took her a while to establish a series of contacts and get the advice of
some professionals in the field. These meeting took place in the winter of 2007 and soon
started to work.
The main traditional object which expresses Doina
Jitareanu’s creative force is the candlestick; the candlestick takes various shapes
which are very close to the rules of the archaic hardware, using traditional techniques
(excluding the welding). The impact upon the viewers is totally favorable, the candle
finding its rest on such candlesticks.
A similar product in terms of function is the round
candle rest, recently appeared on the Romanian market. Among the quasi-traditional objects
we could also mention the bicolor laces (white and red) - trinkets worn in honor of March
1- that Doina Jitareanu scrupulously makes around Martisor feast which are very popular.
We consider that the collaboration between the
artisan from Lunca Cetatuii and AMPM is beneficial for both parties. The fact that Doina
Jitareanu has also a small business which is rather prosperous could represent an impulse
for the other members of the association and the connection with the authentic tradition
will most certainly increase the range of products designed by Doina Jitareanu’s firm.
The fact that she is always willing to help her
fellows, that she cherishes the traditional values, her good nature and kindness which can
be noticed all the time but also the almost German correctness – these are the qualities
