Nina
Djos este un alt caz special in randul membrilor retelei ART. De etnie ucraineana, ea s-a
nascut in Ulianovsc (Rusia), iar acum traieste la Chisinau. Aceste trei coordonate si-au
pus din plin amprenta asupra personalitatii artistice a Ninei Djos.
Invatarea mestesugului s-a facut pe cale culta, fapt mai prezent in Basarabia decat in
Romania, la Universitatea Pedagogica Ion Creanga din Chisinau. Treptat si-a format o
impresionanta colectie de papusi din diferite tari ale lumii, lucru ce i-a permis inclusiv
participarea la o expozitie colectiva organizata in vara anului 2004 la Muzeul National de
Etnografie si Istorie Naturala din Chisinau. Participa frecvent la manifestari specifice
din Rusia, Ucraina, Republica Moldova si, mai nou, din Romania.
Creatia sa este axata precumpanitor pe costumatia
papusilor. Astfel, papusile sunt imbracate in vestimentatie traditionala romaneasca
(moldoveneasca), bulgareasca, ruseasca, ucraineana, gagauza si tiganeasca, avand
combinatii armonioase de culori si o gama bogata de motive ornamentale (muzeograf
Silvia Saranuta). Se remarca atentia deosebita acordata detaliilor cromatice si
decorative, precum si recuzitei care insoteste personajele intruchipate de papusi,
personaje indeobste specifice povestilor popoarelor respective; astfel, sunt recunoscuti
Pacala si Tandala, Fat Frumos si Ileana Cosanzeana, Guguta, preoti, lautari, ostasi s.a.,
Nina Djos aducand in fata noastra o lume magica, o lume a copilariei fericite. Speram ca
Dumnezeu sa o ajute pe mesterita Djos sa-si implineasca visul de a reinvia aceasta lume
magica intr-un Muzeu al Papusilor, muzeu pe care si l-ar dori deschis intr-o zi la
Chisinau.
O alta latura a creatiei sale priveste confectionarea
podoabelor din liser si margele; totusi, accentul principal al creatiei cade pe realizarea
figurinelor miniaturale numite generic papusi. Originea ucraineana i-a permis
inscrierea si in randul membrilor Fondului Cultural Ucrainean, fapt care ii sporeste mult
vizibilitatea, ajutand-o sa-si creeze o retea de distributie a produselor destul de buna.
Imbucurator si incurajator este gandul Ninei Djos
privitor la tanara generatie, gand care vine ca un indemn atat pentru etnografi si
folcloristi, cat si pentru ceilalti mesteri populari: A invata copiii sa iubeasca si sa
pretuiasca mestesugurile populare!. |
Nina
Djos is another special case among the ART members. An Ukrainian national, she was born in
Unlianovsc (Russia) and now she lives in Chisinau. These three coordinates left a mark on
her artistic personality.
She learned the handicraft by schooling (this way of learning is in fact more popular in
Bassarabia than in Romania) at the Pedagogical University Ion Creanga Chisinau. She
created step by step an impressive collection of puppets from various countries worldwide
which allowed her to participate in a collective exhibition organized at the National
Museum of Ethnography and Natural History from Chisinau in the summer of 2004. She often
takes part to specific manifestations in Russia, Ukraine and the Republic of Moldavia and
recently Romania.
Her creation is centered principally upon puppet
costumes. Thus, the puppets are dressed up in traditional Romanian (Moldavian), Bulgarian,
Russian, Ukrainian, and gypsy costumes, showing harmonious combinations of colors and a
large range of adornment motives(Silvia Saranuta, museologist). We notice a special
attention to chromatic and adornment details, as well as the props which accompany the
characters embodied by the puppets which are usually specific to the respective peoples
stories. So we can see Pacala and Tândala, Fat Frumos /Prince Charming and Ileana
Cosânzeana, Guguta, priests, fiddlers, and yeomen etc, Nina Djos presenting us a world of
magic, the world of happy childhood. God help Nina Djos see her dream of opening one day a
Puppets Musem in Chisinau and thus revive this magic world come true.
Another side of her creation regards the making of
bead adornments; however her creation is centered upon manufacturing figurines in
miniature generically called puppets. Her Ukrainian origin allowed her to register
in the Ukrainian Cultural Fund, fact which increases her chances of being known, helping
her create a pretty good product distribution network.
We consider Nina Djoss thought as regards the new
generation is very encouraging, since this thought comes as an impulse both for
ethnographers and folklorists as well as for other artisans: Teach children love and
cherish handicrafts! |
